My Background
With over a decade of experience as an acute care registered nurse, most recently in Intensive Care, I've had the honour of participating in a diverse range of healing journeys. Though this hands-on experience has shown me the positive effects of compassionate healthcare, I am keenly aware that many of us must navigate systems which also have the potential to cause harm.
This perspective propels me to create an intentional, anti-oppressive practice here at ThanaLimina. It also fuels my commitment to addressing my own blind spots and biases, while actively deconstructing harmful conditioning.
My therapeutic approach is experiential, trauma-informed, and highly personalized, drawing from somatic and parts work, grief counselling, and Coherence Therapy.
In my practice, I aim to cultivate a non-judgemental space that supports collaboration and exploration, while honouring the full spectrum of your human experience. Our therapy sessions are meant to be a gentle landing place, where you don’t have to please or perform.

My Why
The catalyst for my personal healing journey was the death of my mother in 2019, a loss that ignited my commitment to this vocation. In the midst of that heartbreaking time, I confronted a grief-phobic culture marked by distress avoidance and isolating expectations about “wellness.” That experience led me to question how we understand pain, loss, and the liminal.
Like you, I am a griever, a survivor, a person in recovery. I know what it is to feel undone by grief, to move through the shadows of addiction, and to live in a body shaped by trauma. I have made mistakes. I have searched for meaning when none could be found. And I have learned that healing is not about perfection. It is about making contact with what is true, and the willingness to stay with what hurts.
Guided by a deep reverence for liminality, that strange and transformative threshold between the known and the unknown, I’m drawn to this work as a place where pain can be metabolized and life lived more wholly. The longing in me sees the longing in you.
